Accomplishments

Mr. Scott is a partner and shareholder in the litigation practice group at Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale. His practice includes the defense of legal and medical malpractice suits, product liability, industrial accidents, automobile, construction, insurance coverage and commercial litigation. Additionally, he has extensive practice in all aspects of appellate work. He also has experience with the litigation and mediation of uninsured and underinsured motorist claims, personal injury, commercial and construction disputes. Mr. Scott also serves as a facilitator for the Illinois Supreme Court Committee on Judicial Performance Evaluation.

Mr. Scott serves as the Chairperson of the Local Rules Advisory Committee and the Vice-Chair of the Civil Justice Reform Committee of the US District Court for the Southern District of Illinois. He also serves on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Bar Foundation and the Okaw Valley Council of the Boy Scouts of America. He is the Chairperson of the Board, President and Chief Volunteer Officer of Land of Lincoln Legal Assistance Foundation, Inc. He is also licensed before the US Supreme Court, the Circuit Courts of Appeal for the 7th and 8th circuits and the US District Courts for Central and Southern Illinois and Eastern Missouri.
